Where can i get good sources of protein?!

Question: Beside meats, poultry and beans.

Answers: Beside meats, poultry and beans.

all kind of nuts and nut by products like peanut butter.

Dietary protein supplements. You can't get that in pill form though, only in powder. Try Vitamin World and ask for their finest protein "shakes".

Well...those are main sources or protein but you can always put protein powder in smoothies and shakes.

Look four questions down from yours. And seven questions down. And fourteen questions down. That's just how many times the protein question has come up without having to load another page.

It's a non-issue. Protein is not the end-all-be-all of nutrients and meat is not the end-all-be-all source of protein. Eat a variety of different foods; include legumes, whole grains, nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and dairy & eggs if you're into that. As long as you're getting enough calories to meet your energy needs and not trying to subsist on junk food, you're getting enough protein.

if you are vegan, nuts are a good option. if you are vegetarian, you can still rely on eggs and dairy options. protein is also found in grains (barley, rice, etc.), vegetables and fruits. we're just not used to thinking of them as sources of protein, since the typical american diet utilizes red meat and poultry.

Eggs, milk, spinach, fish, rice, legumes, oats, peanuts and tofu.

tofu is the ultimate protein, i know it might not taste good, but i just slip mine in a berry smoothie(silk) or in soup or something
hope i could help : )

Why not beans? Soy beans have a lot of protein. In fact, all soy products have a lot of protein. You can buy a pill too, and there are some powders that are supposed to be tasteless and you put them in your drink. You can also buy veggie corn dogs, (mmmmm my fave :-p) because they have protein, too.

nuts
seeds
yogurt
cheese
soya milk/soya beans (yummy!!)
beans- even baked ones!
eggs
lentils/pulses/legumes
wholemeal bread
tofu
tempeh
