Nothing will happen to you. Just eat other veggies, red and yellow peppers, corn, carrots, etc...There are tons of veggies that are not green!

Green veggies are very good for you, and they comprise about 65% of the veggie group. Build a bridge and get over it already.

May I be so bold as to ask why?

If you only eat brown foods you are eating no better than a person on the SAD (Standard American Diet). In the long term, you will feel run down, high blood pressure, stress, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Diverticulitis, Colitis, possibly stroke or heart disease.

It may seem hard or not to your taste to eat green foods, but once in a while choose some green snap peas instead of chips, eat salad with your dinner, get some apples, anyway you can incorporate veggies and fruit into your life is a great step toward better health.

A lot of green vegetables are very healthy for you, as well as other colors, like yellow, red, orange. I don't think something bad would happen if you avoid green foods, but then again, a lot of them like lettuce, broccoli, swiss-chards, spinach contain some really important nutrients that we need. I think it would be best to try and find out why you have trouble eating those foods - Do they remind you of something negative? Does the color make you feel strange? If you have trouble looking at those foods, maybe you can put them into a blender and mix them into other foods, to make it easier to eat? Maybe you can speak with someone about this if it worries you a lot, good luck!

well keep trying those foods, even if they gross you out.
your taste in food will change over the years.
i always hated peas, celery, lettuce, etc.
but now i LOVE them.
mmm so good.

i think that you don't prefer them because they aren't sweet.
and you were probably raised on junk food like me.
lol.
:D

Green vegetables are very, very important in a vegetarian diet, or any diet for that matter. But if you don' t want to eat your greens, then make burgers.

I make burgers out of all left over food including cooked vegetables, cooked pasta, beans, lentils, bread - in fact anything that doesn't get eaten or is left over after a meal, ends up in my burgers. I also add vegemite for extra goodness and soysauce for flavour.

I just put everything into a food blender and whiz it all up together. If it's too runny to shape into burgers I add flour. If it's too thick, I add water or soy milk. Then I put them all into bags in the freezer and use them at leisure.

And they are the tastiest burgers ever - and healthy.

So to make sure you get all the goodness from your greens, just make burgers.

I can eat green fruit and vegetables but I can't eat any other green food (green milkshakes, green pasta, green lasagna, green ravioli) been like this since I was a child.

I thought I was the only nutter with this particular idiosyncrasy, nice to know there are other nutters in the world too.

You need an intake of iron to be healthy and if your not eating meat I feel you will only get iron from green veggies, such as broccoli and spinach.

Pretend you are color blind.
Dont be racist to the greens.

Well, the green veggies are important for being a vegetarian, especially with such vegetables as broccolli - hi in iron and fiber, leafy greens have natural b vitatmins, and the list could go on. Part of being vegetarian is eating VEGETABLES and when you are cutting out over half of your vegetable choices for food you are going to lose natural vitamins and minerals which are integral to your diet.

I think you can do it, but in the long run you are increasing your chance of getting sick - especially if you don't replace the things you are missing out with multi mineral/vitamin pills.

This is what will happen:
No green foods= missing vital nutrients
If you miss on green foods, you miss out on your body functioning at its peak.
Plus greens have been shown to reduce the signs of aging! :)
So if you don't eat them- you could probably age quicker than you would like.
Good ways to add them to your diet..
Get a blender, and make a smoothie. You would be surprised that if you mix kale, collard greens and other dark green leafy veggies in a fruit smoothie with bananas and other favorite fuits- you can't even taste the veggies. Or you can go out and buy a pre made green machine (naked juice) or other green pre-made drink- can't even taste like greens.

I remember my old boss Brenden said to me that he didn't eat anything green I felt sad for him because most of my favourite veggies are green but I also love eggplant and corn but that's another story we were talking at lunch time and he mentioned he had a lump I said it might be cancer he died in his early fifties a few weeks later seriously that could happen to you just start off with beans chop them up finely add to pasta sauce realise that's not so bad and continue from there

eat a lot of other fruits and veggies, maybe try those v8 drinks.

Green food is too good of a nutritional source to skip. If you are eatting plenty of other veggies you can be moderately healthy. BUT not at your best health.
I can only advise you retrain yourself to eat better. These things are choices, certainly you are not expected to like & eat everything but to discard a whole group of foods based on color is not a mature decision on your part.
