Your fave snack?!

Question: I love almonds when I'm on the go. They are high in fibre, a good source of vitamin E, they taste nice..and they are a cruelty free source of protein! Loves it.

I'm asking because tomorrow I will be out all day- I'm gonna be busy and I want your suggestions for things I can eat on the go!

I love nutes too, but recently I have started eating a less healthy snack, poptarts. They;re really good though, especially hot.
Here are some ideas for on-the-go snacks
granola bars
100 cal packs
a small drink, like a smoothie or something
or you can just stop at a fast-food restraunt, although not very healthy....

Almonds are great, but I like to have a bag of mixed nuts, pecans, brazils, almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, thats what I normally take with me to snack on. Another fav of mine is carrot sticks, or cherry tomatoes but i guess they're not as practical.

pistachios !!

Almonds are great, as you say.

I also like to make my own trail mix with dried cranberries, yogurt raisins, carob chips, cashews and almonds.

A good eating apple like a Honeycrisp or Gala is always nice, too, or a banana, if you can carry it around without bruising it.

i love hot cheetoes ther damn good!! plus fruit is good also!!

dried and seasoned chickpeas... you can find them in caribbean markets.

I love blue diamond almond (no peanuts factory) mixed with dried cranberries.

or sundried tomato pesto pita chips dipped in garlic (or any kind of) hummus

... I'm hungry now.

If you are on the go then you might want to have readly eddible snacks

something you do not have to prepare (cut, peel,or mess with too much)
Like trail mix
Granolla bars
apples
assorted shelled nuts
dried fruit
fresh hard veggies
carrots, celery, etc...
or
energy bars

speacial k protine water and bars. Yummy

I like Nature Valley's Almond Granola Bar

Almonds are great...

Kashi makes a particular granola bar that my wife and I enjoy: GoLean Crunchy Chocolate Almond. They have pretty good nutritional value and taste great. We just have a hard time locating them around here! Peace...

mixed nuts or a spoon full of crunchy peanut butter

potato chips (all flavour)

Jerky or any dried animal product squirrel and rabbit jerky is good or KFC

IM goin to get so many thumbs down!
