Are you vegetarian or vegan because...?!
I have a friend who was a vegetarian for all he time I knew her.
Her reason she doesn't like it.
I am a vegetarian for about 5 years because I think it wrong eating enamels
Lately she started to eat meat. Her boyfriend makes sushi and this she likes.
And she can not understand why I don’t eat meat if I liked it. And I really did like it.
So I just wondered what is the main reason for being a vegetarian
Morality health or just taste
Thank you
Answers: You believe eating enamels is wrong or because it's not healthy or because you just don’t like it?

I don't eat meat because I don't think it is necessary nowadays to kill animals for food when we have so many alternatives. It is also very disturbing and distressing to see how much they are tortured just for our demands. So I don't eat meat because of morality.
Enamels? Nobody should be eating paint... the word you're looking for is "animals."
I am vegan for ethical, environmental and health reasons, in roughly that order.
Reasons I gave up eating meat and animal byproducts:
1. Ethics
2. Environmental
3. Health
I actually liked meat when I ate it. I did however grow a distaste for shrimp. But now when confronted with the idea of eating meat it seems quite gross, especially if its a leg or wing. It really hits too close to home what it is I could be eating.
For me, it was mostly morality, but somewhat for health. I used to love the taste, but I don't think I could take the thought of it today.
The environment <- My main reason.
Health is just a delightful little bonus.
Ethics are in there, too.
I love the taste of meat. I just don't eat it anymore.
My uncle is a fanatical Vegan ..lol...once I was at his home and went to pick up a steak..was in the process of cooking it. He came and paced back and forth until I was done, then he took the frying pan and threw it in the garbage ..LOL..and asked me never to cook meat his pans ever again.
Please no offense to anyone here, I would like and have thought about being a vegan but I just love meat too much. But lately for heath resons have been cutting back. Cheers to all!
While not a vegetarian today I have been vegetarian in the past for some of the following reason.
1. While I was in highschool I went vegetarian to prove to myself that I could! For no other reason at all.
2. After highschool a few years later I tried again to be a vegetarian because I was beginning to understand it was bennificial to my health.
3. After my first daughter was born I had it in my head that it was some how a bad thing for a breast feading mom to eat meat, and went vegetarian again!
Well now I would have to say if I ever stop eating meat (which I don't eat much and I don't eat it often) it would be because I am more and more dislike the taste of real meat. A few days ago I had some chicken and me and my husband both threw it away after not eating much as it didn't taste good! I have come more and more to the realization that the annolog meats simply taste better! I know a vegetarian diet is exceptionally healthy if done correctly!
I think a little of both. It is wrong to eat animals but I also don' like the taste of most meat, so I just quit eating it.
