Where do you get baby carrots from?!
Answers: okay so maybe its a dumb question. but i just always wondered! i mean seriousliy how do you get the baby carrots??
What Maggie said :-)
Also, they just look more appetizing and 'cute' than a big, rough, dirty, gnarled carrot. Marketing, marketing.
They're normal carrots that are shaved, peeled and cut into small little sizes... it's no different than regular carrots, they've just been washed and peeled and cut down in size. It's not actually a baby carrot. They're in every grocery store.
Edit: It makes it easier to dip or chop into stuff :) They're handier for little kids too, I give them to my little daughter to chew on since her teeth are coming in and she can handle it better than a big carrot. But you're right, it's a little silly at the same time.
in your local grocery shop they will have bags of baby carrots already washed/ready to go* they're very tasty* great for snackpack* with dip, or to add in water, bring to boil, bit of butter and yum*
u just buy them at the store
some people are lazy and dont like too cook thats why those dumb people think baby carrots are baby carrots. hahahahaha.
safeway, albertsons....grocery places......
baby carrots come from big carrots
I grow my own carrots and pick them when they are small and sweet. They are so yummy and there is nothing better then picking a carrot, and eating it right there in the garden!
