Vegan sources of B12?!

as far as b12 goes, it is found in fortified foods like cereal and supplements. There may be other sources, but I 'm not sure. I myself have problems absorbing b12, so I have to give myself a shot every month :( but most people don't have my issues.
Well, I would suggest eating fortified foods such as fortified cereals...also, if you do not already take a daily supplement of Vitamin B12 you should be...a B12 deficiency could result in Anemia. Here are some reccomended vegan B12 supplements:

nori- you know the seaweed they use to make sushi? This algae is the only natural source of B12 I know of, but I may be in spirulina as well.
The only reliable source of vegan B12 is fortified foods and/or supplements. There are a lot of foods that are touted as vegan sources of B12, like sea vegetables, but it's likely that they have a B12 analog which actually inhibits absorption of real B12. Once upon a time, root vegetables were a reliable source, but most soils are no longer capable of supporting the bacteria that produce B12 and we're much cleaner creatures than we used to be so we clean our root veggies before we eat them. B12 deficiency is potentially very damaging, so although omnivores going veg*n often have a store of it that may last years or even decades, it's wisest to supplement, at least occasionally. The B12 in supplements is the same as the B12 in food; it's produced by the same bacteria, but grown on a sterile, veg*n friendly medium instead of proliferating in the gut of an animal.
You really need to supplement with B12 if you're eating a vegan diet. A daily multivitamin or sublingual B12 pill are both good choices. A lot of foods are fortified with B12 too. Nutritional yeast is really yummy and has tons of B vitamins!

Well during digestion their bodies make the b12 while its in the intestines. This gets absorbed into the blood, as well as the animals tissue.
During digestion in humans, it is made the same way- only later on- to late, because it doesn't quite make it to our blood stream :( too bad.
I get my B12 in a B-complex supplement vitamin I take with my multi-vitamin. If you want food sources, sea vegetables like seaweed have B12, and nutritional yeast is a great source of it as well.
For a vegan cheese-like effect, many vegans use nutritional yeast. I used to sprinkle it on popcorn to make a snack...it's really good!
