Vegans and insect infestations?!

Question: If there is an infestation of insects in a vegan′s′household, what do they do?

They will deny it but probably out comes the bug bomb.

Depends on the vegan. There are some new techniques emerging that use a poisin (deoending in the insect) that does not kill it but makes it sick and forces it from the home. Still in research though.

I'm vegan and I had a pharoah ant problem. I sprinkled cinnamon in the places they were coming in the house. Believe it or not, they stopped coming. Problem solved--it was environmentally friendly, cost me nothing, and didn't hurt anybody.
I've also had problems with weevils and frui flies--I just made sure to keep things cleaner and all food in sealed containers. Problems solved.
There are small long-legged spiders in many of the corners of my house, I leave them be and they keep the housefly and mosquito levels down.
There are much easier ways of dealing with bugs than busting out the raid can and going postal. I guess it helps that I am not squeamish about bugs.
I've never had to deal with giant cockroaches or anything, though. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it I guess.

There are non-lethal methods for removing insects. Many of the methods simply involve using common household products, like dishwashing fluid. The smell from the chemicals in these products doesn't harm the insects, but causes them to leave the house.

I can't speak for all vegans though. There are probably some who use lethal methods and some who rely on non-lethal ones.

Use the essential oil blend called Purification from Young Living, dilute it in a spray bottle with water, and spray liberally. It will get rid of, like, all pests. It drives them away.Doesn't kill.

get some pet rats. or move. I can't have rats because I have a cat.
I lived in a place where my flat became overrun by cockroaches, because when my neighbours sprayed they all sought refuge in my place. I was moving anyway at the end of the year, so I just put up with them. They tend to stink but, when there are that many. I'd rather have rats any day- they eat the cockroaches.
