I agree that all different shades of blue would be good. Blue is a pretty neutral color.

blue color sceme is good. light and dark. its calm, peaceful, and blue is considerd a male color in our culture.

dark blues and reds and greens
blues are he best though

black baby.

blue, red, brown, black. Nothing pink, green, or yellow. Orange is like a co-ed color.

Tell your husband that being gay-phobic is unacceptible today

Maybe a darker purple with something on the yellow color spectrum? You could easily incorporate dark green into this as well.

red, blue, green, olive green, white, brown, yellow. all good colors for food. and who cares your a girl its your site so of course it will be girly. what is he thinking?

navy blue
red
black
dark grey
......idk im a girl...lolz

middle of the road colors,,,, light blue background or beige

All colors of Green! :)
my hubby loves purple- that's considered a feminine color
as for manly colors?
I think its to the eye of the beholder!

Pink. My wife says I look sexy when I wear a pink Polo shirt..

My personal favorites are dark or navy blue and dark green. Usually "manly" colors are dark or earth tones such as khaki or "wood" colors. Black, silver, dark grey etc are also considered "manly".

The LA Raiders fans have this on their shirts: "Real men wear Black", black and silver being the team colors.

Well I'm a man and I don't understand the concept of 'manly colors' and 'girly colors'. Colors are colors, they're all just different wavelengths of light. Every color has its place.

Anyway, my favorite background colors for any kind of website or presentation are white, cream or basically any light color. I can't stand light fonts on dark backgrounds.
