Tell me about Royal Jelly?!

Question: I know it is a product of the queen bee. But what I don't know is what is it? When and why would I buy it? Would it solve any kind of a health problem? Would it prevent any kind of a health problem? I know where to buy it, just as I said nothing about it!

People buy it in health food stores for energy, Allergies, strengthen immune system health and over all good health. People who have used it for years are convinced that it helps them.

Royal jelly is secreted by all honeybees and is fed to bee larvae - it's basically bee 'baby food'.
I don't know anything else about it, sorry.

If you are a vegan, as possibly indicated by the category you choose, you wouldn't eat it at all because it is the product of an animal (a bee).

It is the food of baby bees. I can't imagine that it would solve or prevent any human health problem.

Royal Jelly is fed only to produce queen bees. Worker bees are fed normal honey. It is hyped a lot but I doubt that it is really worth the cost. It probably has all the good stuff of honey plus a little.

Edit I guess it is fed to all bees but the those destined to become queens are fed so much more.

Tis a wonderful marketing scam m'Lady. It helps those in the honey business maintain a healthier bottom line with leftover products of the beekeeping industry.
