Linda McCartney sausages?!
Answers: Does anyone else think the linda mccartney sausages in the new packaging have gone down hill? The ones in the red packets were much better even though they were smaller. Now im missing my sauage mash and onion gravey!!!!
I never liked her products anyway, but then again, I don't use meat substitutes at all.
If you miss your sausages, make your own ones (better and cheaper)

My mum thinks exactly the same way as you do!
I have just eaten 2 Linda McCartney sausages now for tea! They taste strange, so I don't really eat them much.
I'm not a fan of false meats, I'm a fully fledged veg!! :-)
Yeah I agree...
I never thought much of them to begin with because they leave a strange after taste in my opinion.
They are even worse now so I will be giving them a miss I think. However, I do love her sausage rolls!
Try Quorn cumberland sausages you'll be hooked!
yeah i agree.
i used to eat the ones in the red packet all the time and now in the new packaging...i really don't like them!
I think a lot of the supermarket vegetarian ranges are better.
I didn`t find the Linda McCartney stuff very tasty.
I`m not mad on vegetarian substitutes for meat things, like steaks and sausages anyway.
No the other ones where really greasy. You're not missing anything, try sosmix and you can add your own flavors.
Not only them, the country pies also taste different, but can't exactly say what it is that makes it so. :-(
i think there totally vile all of them
ew i wouldn't want to eat anything that died of cancer
ha I'm so funny
seriously tho, we don't get that brand in Australia but I have noticed changes in quality here as well. The problem is there are global food shortages and price increases driven by the escalating cost of oil. Companies are starting to change their ingredients in order to keep costs down. You get used to a flavour, then when it changes slightly you notice the difference.
Linda McCartney food sucks. What vegetarian wants to eat processed stuff pretending to be meat?
Cauldron sausages are REALLY yummy
I'm not vegetarian but I have to agree. I used to love them before but not so keen on them
Yes, though they weren't great to begin with. I much prefer Caulron sausages -a lot of meat eaters I know also like them-
I gave it a go when it was re-packaged but the food is as unimaginative and tasteless as it was 15 years ago. I bet Linda's spinning in her grave.
They used to baloads nicer (and suitable for vegans as well) but a few years back, Linda Mccartney were taken over by heinz, who apparently decided to change them and add useless ingredients, change the taste/texture etc.
It's a shame.
They definitely have gone down, nothing like as nice as they used to be.
Well, she has been dead a few years!
Surely even veggie bangers go off after a while.
Me? I'm a devout carnivore!
