d.what are some of the health bennefits
a. I didn't see the movie, but I've read the book.
b. It's not been hard for me lately, but when I first gave up red meat (in 1986) I know I "fudged" every once in awhile. I think it's smart of you to take it in steps - that's what I did. And don't beat yourself up if you slip now and then. After time it will get easier.
c. I stopped eating red meat because I read about the connection between colon cancer (which is quite prevalent in my family) and eating meat. I read "Diet for a New America" and that helped me become a vegan four years after cutting out the red meat.
d. Health benefits can include: less risk of heart disease, less risk of cancer, less risk of diabetes, less risk of osteoporosis, less risk of obesity.
Good luck to you!
its good idea
A. No but it sounds like something icky,
B. No its not. as a matter of fact, i am vegan and i am cool with it (vegan means no meat, egg, dairy, gelatin)
C. Because it is totally wrong to eat animals and animal biproducts..
D. You wont be able to get high cholestoral, people who are vegetarians and vegans are less likely to get all kinds of diseases, and all other kinds of illnesses
I think it is not eliminating the kinds of meat but rather the amount...
As for me I tried to be one(vegitarian ) but was not successful... I tend to get tried easily and have mood swings and etc...
try reducing the amount of meat you eat... like say instead of meat for every meal ... have in only 1 meal.. and slowly reduce ....
and you'll see if your body can take it ... not everyone can go cold turkey.....
I did not see the movie.
If you suddenly give up meat, it may be harder for you to stay vegetarian. So go step by step. Start by eating only vegetarian for one meal(for example, lunch) per day. after you are adjusted to that do that with other meals too. You are more likly to stay veg that way.
Take care to include foods that give you the nutrients needed by your body.
a. I have seen it and thought it wasn't to bad. Quite upfront i guess .
b. I havent been doing it for long.. but so far nope (:
c. i dislike the idea of kill animals and it was a perfect new years resolution.
d. ive heard that generally vegetarians/vegans are more healthier than meat eaters.. thats a plus +
A) I have not seen the movie, but I read the book.
B) Not really. Being vegan is a little trickier, but it's worth it to me.
C) There are a LOT of things. My body stopped being able to tolerate meat after I turned 30. The chicken head incident at McDeathburger. Reading "Fast Food Nation." Becoming more and more disgusted with meat.
D) Lower cholesterol, reduced risk of heart disease and cancer.
