Can you eat the leaves of pumpkin plants? Do you have any receipts?!


Question: Never tried 'em, but I found this recipe. It actually sounds good.

Note also how they combine a grain, a legume and a vegetable to make a reasonably balanced meal.

They are an excellent source of beta carotene (Vit A), vitamin C, riboflavin, thiamine and calcium. Wow I learn something new every day!

You can eat the flowers, but I've never heard of eating the leaves. Don't they have tiny, hairy prickles on them?
