Are there any good vegetarian meals with tofu that you can't taste the tofu?!

Question: I want to add tofu to my vegetarian diet because it's healthy.

Answers: I want to add tofu to my vegetarian diet because it's healthy.

i've eaten plain tofu and i've never had a problem with the taste but with the texture. it feels like i'm eating a sponge and that kind of irks me.

so I would add it (crumbled up) to stir-fry, spaghetti sauce, nachos...it can work in just about anything because it's so tasteless.

I'm a meat-eater and I've had it in spaghetti sauce instead of hamburger and I couldn't tell the difference.

tofu doesnt really have much of a taste. it will taste like whatever you cook it with usually, i dont know recipes, but i just wanted to tell you that.

I've had miso soup with tofu at a vegan chinese restaurant and its pretty good.

Whatever you're eating it. If it's marinated or in a sauce....you couldn't tell it's tofu. If you eat it plain or with something dry...then you probably won't like it as much :] But plain tofu tastes..like nothing.

tofu has no real taste, it actually very bland. it will taste similar to whatever you cook it or marinade it in.. though i recommend an oriental style soup.. the soy sauce/saltiness gives the tofu good flavour an texture

miso soup minus the meat

when you let tofy marinate in soy sauce for a half hour or more it absorbs it better.

Then you add seasonings to it just like you would chicken and there you go!
Like someone above said, tofu is quite bland. It takes on the falvours you put to it.

Key point: marinate for half hour AT LEAST (best when longer)
p.s not too much soy sauce-- then its too salty. just a drizzle.

Well, you can put it in stir fry, salads, burritos, soup, enchiladas, and even in smoothies. You can't even taste it!

Good vegetarian meal? I've never heard of any, sorry.
