Why did you choose to become vegetarian?!
i mean i watched a video and i visited a slaughter house and it was horrible!!! i mean i like to hunt but at least the animals i shoot dont suffer!! its absolutly disgusting how cruel people can be to kill an animal like that!! i mean its totally barbaric!!
dont judge me because i hunt cause i already know alot of you guys are against the killing of an animal. but like seriously who could kill an animal that?!? and not have the slightest guilt? i mean i often feel guilty when i hunt deer but i make damn sure the animal will not suffer or i refuse the shot.
Answers: is a good reason because the way they kill the animal?

Because a lot animals produced for meat are confined in metal prisons where they have to sleep in their own feces and their brothers and sisters blood
That's why :)
I love animals, but the main reason...Simply for the health benefits, and the fact that my body feels so much better all around, I sleep better, have more energy and get more out of each day
Slaughterhouses are money making factories that treat their animals as meat machines rather than living beings. They in no way have any respect for the animals and some employees torture them just for "fun". I chose to be a vegetarian for humane reasons and a few months later I became a vegan because I realized that hens and milking cows were also treated horribly. There is no excuse to eat meat. No animal deserves to live like that and the human body simply does not require any animal product. It's the best decision I have ever made. GO VEG :)
I was vegetarian for lent years ago. I stayed that way for years my skin glowed, I felt lighter, lost weight.
Then body changes( hormones) now I eat meat twice a month or less. (still prefer tofu)
When I do its not farmed. Like rabbit, deer, and some buffalo.
Killing for food is something all animals do, I don't agree with hunting for fun.
i did it totally for the animals.
there are other good things about it, but I don't think innocent animals should be killed so that people can eat them ,or wear them [I'm anti-fur too], or use them as decorations.
I was born as a vegetarian. My whole family is a vegetarian and In India, where I am from, its not a big deal. We generally don't question too much. When we grow up we realize the reasons. Which is good.
ALL BAD ABOUT AN HEART THAT ABUNDANT WITH COMPASSION WILL BUTCHER ANY BEINGS THAT ABUNDANT WITH LIFE.
It was for a number of reasons. It became mostly for animal welfare and partly for health reasons but the more I researched it I came to the conclusion that even killing animals for our consumption is completely unnecessary in this day and age.
People oftentimes look to the past as to what we should do, saying things like our ancestors did this or that so we should as well. But the world is evolving and everything changes, so who is to say that we should not become a plant-eating caring race?
Several reasons for me. 1) I am a HUGE animal lover, we even rescue animals & donate, etc 2) I actually love fruits, veggies & health food, etc 3)It is a good healthy diet 4)I never really even liked meat to begin with. I barely even ate it when I was little, I just picked at it. Like at KFC I would eat the crispy stuff on the chicken but not the chicken itself lol./ I have been a vegitarian for almost 12 years & love it
Its different for me, I just woke up one morning, and didnt want meat anymore in my diet... And its been that way since then.....LOL
