Answers: From Best to Worst? From Experiences?
soymilk,
goatmilk,
cowmilk,
coconut milk.
with goatmilk it tastes great, but it tastes sour if you keep the nannies in with the billy, so if you can't be sure don't try it.
coconut milk- too fattening but delicious!
Soy milk, a bit rank but you get used to it. It is the least fatty.
Goat milk - never tried.
Cow's milk I reckon is the best and most nutritious.
soymilk is best
coconut milk
cow milk
never had goat milk
i love me some vanilla soymilk =D
Almond milk. - Thats the best, second best is soy milk. Rice milk - not so nice.
Almond is my favorite too. Coconut milk is more suited to recipes and such - makes a nice sauce for curries.
Almond milk is the best substitute for milk.
Coconut milk is best in desserts- too rich for other uses.
IMHO, soymilk tastes funky.
Goat milk is best for goats.
Cow's milk is best for calves.
i've only had cows milk and soy milk... but i can say i actually like the taste of soy milk much better
you have the order right. cow, goat, soy, coconut
Let's see, from best to worst:
-Soy milk
- Hemp "milk" ( I like Hemp bliss in chocolate flavor... mmmm)
-rice milk
-Almond milk
Before going vegan I tried goat milk... it tastes likes liquefied goat cheese... not pleasant at all!
I have a brother in law who has chrons disease (can't spell it) drinks goat milk. Goats milk is the very very best for an upset stomache. my friend the farmers says that store bough goats milk is disgusting however, fresh off the farm it's really good. I don't know personally though.....I drink cow's milk.
For those who can't digest cow's milk, goat milk is miralculous and like the other poster said, great for chron's. It can taste off if the billy's w/them or they're grain fed.....cow's milk can actually be quite healthy depending on circumstances and raw milk (although illegal in most places) can be digested by many people who formerly were lactose intolerant. I do like soy milk as well and drink it when my asthma is acting up.
Coconut milk is WAAAAY fattening!!! I like soy milk, but if you're trying it for the first time you need to get the plain variety and eat it over cereal with a bit of sugar. I've never had goat's milk. Cow's milk makes me sick because I'm (highly) allergic to it.
I think you might like soy though. The plain kind doesn't really have a flavor. It's got the consistency of skim milk, and is really light. I love it! But like I said, don't try it by itself the first time. I think some people don't like it because they're expecting it to be like cow's milk (which has a flavor and slight smell even when fresh.), but it is nothing like it.
I think breast milk
