Are There Any Vegan Cookbooks Like this?!

Question: Are there any vegan cookbooks that don't have any spices or seasonings in the recipe's listed ingredients?

It's entirely possible that such a cookbook exists, allthough I haven't a clue why anyone would want to own it.

My advice to you is to browse your local bookstore's vegan cookbooks, and pick something that suits you. You can always just omit the herbs and spices from a recipe to suit your liking.

Dreena Burton's cookbooks use alot of whole food ingredients, and the herbs and spices her recipes call for aren't ever exotic or overpowering.

Best of luck!

No. There aren't any cookbooks at all like that, vegan or otherwise.

there are some great vegetarian and vegan cookbooks (the new farm cookbook, diamond's American Vegetarian cookbook, the enchanted broccoli forest are some of my favorites) but most list spices and seasonings. If you don't want spices and seasonings, just leave them out of the recipe (but don't invite me over, because I loves me some spices!).

This is a really bizarre question! I'm not sure why *anyone* would want food without those delicious flavours..

I've never seen a book that excludes herbs and spices but my suggestion to you would be to buy a regular vegan cook book and use the recipes as a base/idea/inspiration and leave out anything you're not interested in eating. I guess this way, you get the taste of everything you're eating without interference!

i don't think then it'd be a cookbook anymore it'll just be stuff thrown together..spices are what makes recipes unique and u can vary them. but u might as well just eat plain vegetables or go on the raw food diet.
