How do you transition to the raw diet?!

Question: I have been trying to transition from a regular vegan diet to a raw vegan diet, and I found it difficult to go without rice/beans/bread etc. I"m sure that I can get a dehydrator and make a variety of raw breads, etc, but it may take a while before I figure out how to do that.

any ideas?

Most people on a raw diet occasionally eat cooked or semi-cooked foods. Ezekiel bread (http://www.foodforlife.com/) is made from organic sprouted grains. It's not raw but it's very close.

There are some recipes to make your own raw breads here:

mmm, flax crackers:http://www.rawfoods.com/recipes/flaxcrac...

Crackers and tortillas will probably be the easiest to start with. I think raw foods are great but eating cooked foods occasionally will not harm you. The longest lived people in the world eat cooked foods.
