What is your favorite vegetarian dish? Any cook books to recommend?!

Question: I am looking for some yummy vegetarian recipes. Just looking to substitute 1 or 2 meals a week without meat. Do you know of any good websites or books to recommend?

Just mix a bunch of veggies and fry them with teryaky, rice bran oil and curry powder.

Yes!
I have a million favorite vegetarian dishes.

Check out all the Moosewood cookbooks, because they're considered the bibles of vegetarian cooking. Also, "The Enchanted Broccoli Forest".

And for vegan cookbooks (even *more* ethical, nutritious and environmentally friendly) try, ReFresh, and "How it All Vegan".

MMMMMM, YUM!

A tofu stir-fry is great, and you can put pretty much whatever you want to in it and it will taste delicious!

Potato pancakes. Grate potatoes, put in some egg, pepper, and a little bit of flour to hold the mix together. Fry in oil. Serve with sour cream or apple sauce. Oops, I don't know if you eat eggs.
