Can vegetarians eat Jello?!
Answers: If they want to.
lol, well if it does not contain meat and since most vegitarians do not eat meat then yes, if you are a vegan and it has no animal products then sure!
No it's made of reconstituted connective tissue of animals...

nope gelatin is an animal product
yes im sure
no gelatin is pork fat
Gelatin is made by soaking animal bones, so I don't eat it, but I know vegetarians that do :)
No because it is made with gelatin which comes from horses' hooves.
nope
gelatine in it
No-
it has geletin in it.
Geletin is made of animal parts such as skin, hooves, and other left overs.
It's really up to the vegetarian in question. I'm sure some do and some don't. There are different levels of vegetarianism (if that's a word?) - and not everybody knows that gelatin is made from animal parts.
Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?
*cough* lame. I know. Oldest joke in the book. I couldn't resist.
they better not......it contains gelatin....which is made of cow hooves and other animal parts
I think that's a personal question all vegatarians ask themselves. It depends on whether they think jeleton (or however you spell it) is animalistic or not.
vegetarians can... vegans cannot
Jello has gelatin in it, which is a by product of lard which is technically meat.
Yes because its not meat or anything vegetarians cant eat because im a vegetarian and i eat jello and nothing happens.
No, I don't believe so. Gelatin is made from animal hooves--interesting but true. So are gummy bears and most things gelatin-y. This is why I am an omnivore--I would miss my horse hooves! : ) However, I do have a LOT of respect for those able to hold to a vegetarian lifestyle--and even more for vegans. : )
No, it contains gelatin.
well uhhh unless tha jello has beef chicken or shyyyt in it, whyyy wouldnt they?
No, gelatin is horse hooves, but there are many different types of vegetarians, just depends how you are, like some vegetarians don't eat eggs but others do, some eat cheese and milk, others don't.
jello contains horse hooves and sometimes fish bones
so generally vegetarians avoid jello
but there are lots of vegetarian recipes for jello out there
:}
Jello contains gelatin, which is made of animal bones and hooves. As a vegetarian, I do not eat gelatin, but I know vegetarians that do. It just depends on where you draw the line.
no
i am not 100% on this but anything containing gelatin would be a meat product. I've heard it is made from pigs feet.
I would have to say no, because gelatin is made from animals... but its up to you because gelatin is made from animal hooves after the animal has passed away.. so your not necessarily killing the animal for the gelatin.. you just not letting the animl go to waste.
Vegans don't eat any animal byproduct, so they can't eat jello because of the gelatin. Vegetarians just don't eat meat, so yes they can eat jello (the gelatin comes from animal bones/hoofs, not meat).
Jello and other gelatins are made from animal by-products. Most vegetarians would probably choose not to eat them.
Jello is so purified that the FDA doesn't regard it as a meat product, but it does contain gelatine which has something from animals in it, but I don't believe it would be against the vegatarian rule or anything. If you are a strong vegatarian then I suggest go with your conscience.
Nope
This would be your choice. It doesn't contain general MEAT, but it contains bone marrow of some animals. If you were vegan, then jello would not be something you can eat. It's kind of like eggs. Vegetarians can eat eggs, but because it comes from animals, it would not be vegan.
I hope this helped. Good luck!
why not?
its efing gelatin.
not lamb or anythingg. 8/
