What is the best way to make tofu?!
Now here's my favourite way to cook tofu and it is taught to me by my grandmother.
First, cut the tofu into 1/2 inch cubes.
Transfer them onto a plate and make sure to drain all the water from the tofu.
cut up some green onions and sprinkle them lavishly on top of the tofu.
cut some garlic and ginger ( if you have any ).
Drizzle soy sauce all over the tofu or as much as you want. ( Not too much if you are watching sodium, use low sodium soy sauce)
Heat up some olive oil in a pan.
Add the garlic and ginger. Do not allow the garlic to burn you merely want the fragrant of the garlic and ginger to get into the oil. Turn the fire off and add in about 2 teaspoons of sesame oil. (caution oil and garlic mixture will be very hot at this time)
Pour the hot garlic/ginger/oil mixture over the tofu. (seasoned with green onions and soy sauce as previously mentioned)
Serve with steamed rice.
Answers: First of all moderation is everything. A serving of tofu say 1/2 cup is enough for you to reap the benefits without going overboard.

Be careful with soy. It modifies estrogen, it modifies thyroid hormone levels, etc. It acts like a medicine in your body...

I'm sure a little bit is OK, but don't go overboard.
Tofu is a great thing because it can be made into so many different things - from pudding to fake meat.
The "best" way to make (or prepare, which is what I think you're after) tofu is whatever way you like it best.
I like it in stir fries, tofu scramble, marinated and cooked with nutritional yeast as breading... and another thousand ways!
