No, store bought tofu isn't considered a raw food, it's cooked already. It's made out of soy milk that's coagulated using nigari or other coagulants. It's edible straight out of the tray, there's no special preparation that needs to occur.

Tempeh isn't raw either, but some raw foodists permit small amounts of tempeh in their diets because it's full of beneficial enzymes as it's basically a fermented bar made of soybeans. Plus it's very versatile.

I would stay away from raw tofu. It is nasty unflavored uncooked. Tofu comes from soybeans anyway. It was explained to me like this. Milk is to cottage cheese as soy beans are to tofu! I know nothing at all about temph!
To the best of my understanding a raw food diet is supposed to help cancer patients. I am not sure how things likes beans and rice and grains could be consumed on a raw food diet. I have no idea what miso is!

Tofu that you find in the supermarket has been pasteurized, so it is not raw.

Tempeh is made from soybeans that have already been fermented and cooked.

Miso can be raw.

Dangers of tofu, raw or cooked.

A dear friend of mine in LA recently went through round one of cancer therapy (breast). The culprit: too much tofu and soy, based upon her physicians research into correlation of diet and cancer.

I don't mean to scare you but if you think of it, the cultures where tofu comes from do NOT eat large quantities of it or meat. Just a few small pieces here and there. You rarely see any dish with tons of tofu in it at any authentic oriental restaurant. We have gone way overboard in our consumption of soy and we are paying the price.

Eat smart. Get your protein from panir, beans, cheese if you are vegetarian. Sprouted grains are great and you can buy breads, rolls, buns, tortillas, and frozen pizza that are made form sprouted grains which are delicious.

miso is fermented soy bean paste. it may be pasteurized, likewise tofu may be pasteurized as well.
