for protien you would probably have to eat lots of yummy tofu, eggs, and cheese stuff. =D

good luck

Lots of things are packed with protein like veggie burgers, protein powders, tofu, ect.

I hope you can enjoy some of the tasty food!

Lots of protein is available in many ways: tofu/soy products, beans, eggs, cheese. search for vegetarian sandwiches online and you will find many ideas. Just last night, I made a veggie burger with cheese and avocado and it was super delicious!

you don't wanna become a vegetarian...you'll miss out on lobster, shrimp, crab, rib eye, chicken, baby backs...
come back to carnivoreland

Salads, eggs, tofu, veggie burgers, etc. But be careful, make sure you get ALL your protein. whether you have to take pills or not. My friend is 16 and she's a vegetarian. She looks sick and very, very pale. She doesn't eat as much as she needs to. So be careful and eat plenty of protein!

its sooo cool u r cuz i am. they say its hard cuz of all that faty "good" sutff. also people say tofus is disgusting but really it isnt. well, depends who and how its cooked. there is vegetarin EVERYTHING chiken, fog, ifsh, abloney. u name it. find a vegetarin store and "vwala" u have ur meals

A well balanced diet is what's important.

Being a vegetarian can be healthy and satisfying, if it's something you want.

To get your protein, eat a lot of:
Beans (canned are great!)
Low-fat dairy products (yogurt, cheese, milk)
Protein fortified bread
Protein fortified Pasta
Tofu, soybeans

....and things of that nature.

For sandwiches, just load them up with veggies, cheese and low-fat sauces like 1 part mayonaise, 2 parts mustard (I love Dijon or Spicy Mustard for more flavor), bottled salad dressings spreaded very lightly on bread (eat it right away so the sandwich doesn't get soggy), and my favorite Veggie Sandwich is this:

2 Slices Whole Wheat Bread
Low-Fat Cream Cheese (for a spread)
Thinly Sliced Red Onion
Red Leaf Lettuce
2 Slices Swiss or Cheddar Cheese (depending on my mood)
Sliced Bell Pepper (I like red)
Sliced Cucumber or Dill Pickles (dry them off first)
Sliced Tomato

Spread the cream cheese on the bread, sprinkle LIGHLTLY with ground pepper, paprika, dill and garlic powder. Pile on the sliced cheese and veggies and enjoy!

This is really delicious!

Going vegetarian is actually really easy and effortless if you already love fruits and veggies! You can anything anyone else eats, just ommit the meat part! Ordering salads and pastas in restraunts in easy too, just skip the meat!

Congratulations on your decision and goodluck!
