The sweetest Peanuts cartoon strip I ever saw was of Snoopy fishing by the river. Lucy arrives scornful, berating him for his hypocrisy. :"Fine humanitarian dog you turned out to be!" She bellows at him. Snoopy looks non-plussed as she storms off and raises his fishing line to reveal a bright red heart!
