Shall i become vegtarian...look at details first?!
Answers: Hey! I really don'tlike the way people treat the animals and I am considering becoming vegtarian. The problem is I am 13 and lactose intolerant (can't have milk).
I'm lactose intolerant and veggie, too, and I have a really varied diet! You just have to make things from scratch instead of relying on ready-made things, learning to substitute foods. And I agree, don't become veggie until you leave school, because it can be really hard to get a blanced vegetarian diet on school food. And before you cut out meat, make sure you have a lot of nutritional knowledge so you donb't lack anything, it's not just about substituting cheese or nuts for meat, it's much more complex.
Why would being lactose intolerant be a problem? Drink soy milk...making the choice to become a vegetarian isn't one to take lightly or on a whim. I hope that whatever you decide, you make the right choice for you :-)

do NOT become vegetarian until you are at least 16
instead cut down your meat consumption to only 3-5 times a week...
eat FREE RANGE EGGS - rather than battery hen eggs
eat less chicken.. remember 1 dead chicken feeds fewer people than 1 dead cow
see the link..
Vegetarians don't have to drink milk. (Actually no one does, except calves)
Do some research:

And you can still eat fruits, vegetables, juices, rice and other grains, beans, peas and lentils, some pasta, soups, salads....
Frankly, you are a prime candidate for a Vegan diet which doesn't include milk of dairy products.
You will simply need to include whole grains and beans or peas, some faux meat products from companies like Lightlife, Gimme Lean, Yves or Tofurky, and eat fruit and veggies, nuts and seeds as well.. No problem.
Yours is really not the problem it used to be.
You should also know about Hemp Bliss Hemp Milk which is very high in both protein and the Omegas 3, 6, and 9. No, it is not that kind of hemp! You can't get high on it.

You can buy lactose free milk in health food stores if you like milk. You can get lots of protein from nuts and beans/legumes. Don't go cold turkey and quit overnight. Take your time and opt for a baked potato with lemon juice when you would rather have a burger...rice and beans when you want a perfect protein without the meat taco or burrito.
Just read up on it and be really easy on soy.
being lactose intolerant doesnt affect your choice of whether or not you can be a vegetarian....actually you'll probably be more of a vegan...but their are many different substitutes out there...if their weren't there wouldn't be any vegans out there....good luck
you can be a vegetarian at any age(i was 12)
you could be a ovo-vegetarian. eggs and regular vegetarian stuff, but no milk/milk products. plus that should be easy since you already can't drink milk.
