i have never been forced to eat meat, and if anyone tried to force me to eat something i am apposed to eating, i would no longer associate myself with that person. people should always respect you ethics and values even if they disagree with them.
i have once eating animal products by accident, and i did not handle it well. this is how it happened:
i had just started being vegetarian, for about a month then. i was at home alone that night, forced to fend for myself and make my own dinner (this was before a started to love cooking). i was feeling lazy so i made some caned bean soup, but i had no idea that you actually had to read the ingredients to check for meat products, so i just went ahead and ate it. later that night i realized that it had meat, and even though i had already fully digested it, i threw up, as if to rid myself of any meat.
now, because of this accident, i always double check that there is no meat in what i am about to consume.
i hope i helped answer your question, and have fun with vegetarianism! toodles,
*kay
I've never been forced to and my nose will pick up the smell of dead animal before I put any in my mouth. Potluck dinners are the hardest place since lots of people hide meat in their dishes.
We have a friend who is a vegetarian and always tried to be sure that we cooked what he needed for his diet. One time we were at a church pot luck dinner and we noticed that he was also eating things NOT vegetarian. We asked why. He said, "It is more important that I do not offend or belittle someone by not tryinig their food than for me to adhere to a strict diet." He was the kindest vegetarian I ever knew and a great example overall. He always put others first.
No, no one's physically shoved food down my throat or held a gun to my head and told me to eat meat. When I was younger, my parents didn't want me to become veg and talked me out of it, but they didn't force me to keep eating meat... I could have stood up to them and later did.
I've eaten meat by mistake, at a restaurant. I felt very badly at first, but then realized that mistakes are going to happen sometimes and all we can do is use them as learning experiences. I'm a lot more careful at restaurants now; I don't just assume that something is vegetarian if it appears to be veg on the menu.
Aside from feeding tubes in hospitals, you can't force anyone to eat anything.
And yes, there have been times when I ate meat by mistake. Usually because something I assumed to be vegetarian turns out to be cooked in chicken broth.
You feel bad, then you get over it and avoid that in the future.
No I've never been forced to eat meat.
but. people do try their hardest to get me to eat meat BUT I never do=]
Once at Taco bell there was this chunk of chiken-ish thing. And I bit into it and I was like "whaaaa, and spit it out it, and rinsed out my mouth a lot.
GROSS!!!!
No, I've never been "forced" to eat meat. I don't eat anything I don't want to eat, thanks.
I've never accidentally eaten meat, but I accidentally ate noodles made with eggs (and I'm vegan). I was sick all night, and totally grossed-out.

yuck nasty i dont lik to eat it again
wat to tell again .

I've never been forced to eat any certain type of food, although me refusing to eat certain things (particularly microwave food) has caused some rude behavior towards me lol.
As I've never eaten meat while I've been a vegetarian, I have accidentally eaten corn syrup which I'm against as strongly as vegetarianism--I felt scared, and almost made myself through-up, but I was in my neighbors BMW and as imaginable they didn't like that idea so much...
i think people are alot more open to vegetarians now. i used to be vegetarian and no-one ever made me eat meat. it became very difficult to not eat any meat, as people often assume you will still eat fish (which is crazy coz this is still from an animal obv!)...so often it was hard to choose to not eat meat and i would choose to eat it once in a while. but i was never directly forced... but lack of options and people thinking i was fussy did pressure me to stop being vegetarian, which is awful really :(
no - i would rather starve, most of the folks i know who do eat meat are VERY respectful of my non meat self. and if anyone tried to FORCE it on me - i would let them know - i would rather starve & am willing to go to blows - i would go down swinging. my sons have always taught me to fight!
have taken bites of stuff to be polite once i realized that there may be some flesh - i have politely told person i could not have it, allergic - i know it is a little white lie, but that's better than hurting some ones feelings. and if i actually ate it and then realized what had happened - i must admit i feel a bit bad & spend some time thinking about it - i do get over it. :)

I've never been forced to eat meat, no. But I would not do it, some one would literally have to force feed it to me.
I've never accidentally eaten meat, but I have accidentally eaten something that contained gelatin, and I felt disgusted, it made me kind of sad, but it taught me to read through the ingredients.
I have never been forced to eat meat, but I have accidentally eaten things that had animal products in it. I have eaten more than a few things that contained gelatin without realizing it until later. It made me feel really nauseous afterward when I realized what I had eaten though.

No, I've never been forced to eat meat.
I have biten into things that were supposed to be meatless only to find meat in them. I spit it out, rinsed my mouth out (and probably swore,) and moved on. It happens.
No one has forced me to eat meat. I've been a vegetarian for 11 years. Once I ate some rice and beans with beef extract and I was physically ill.
