Question: both are secret MEAT eaters at night..

No DIFFERENCE?

Answers: both are secret MEAT eaters at night..

No DIFFERENCE?

Vegetarians, or lacto-ovo-vegetarians, do not eat any meat products, but they eat dairy products and eggs. Vegetarians need to know whether a product contains gelatine or other meat-based products. Vegans do not consume any animal products.

Vegans don't eat (or use) any animal byproducts. Vegetarians don't eat meat....vegetarians can have dairy, while vegans do not.

Vegan is a much stricter diet than vegetarian

Vegans don't eat any cheese, milk and eggs, whereas a vegetarian does eat those products.

Lacto-vegetarians consume dairy products.
Lacto-ovo-vegetarians consume both dairy and egg products.
Veganism is more of a lifestyle. Vegans abstain from all animal foods and animal by products. So that means no meat and fish (clearly..), no eggs, no milk, no honey, no fur, no leather, no silk, no wool, etc.

vegan doesnt eat or use animal products eg. leather or milk. vegeterians just dont eat meat.

simple,
vegans eat nothing with eyes, or once had eyes!

vegetarians drink milk and that's just ok, vegans would not drink milk (cow)

Vegetarians don't eat meat within its self - like lamb, sausages, bacon, beef etc, while vegans don't eat any mean and meat products such as eggs, milk, cheese and some forms of gelatin which are beef or pork.

Vegetarians still eat eggs and milk etc as they aren't directly meat. Vegans will only eat foods with no treaces of meat such as fruit, vegetables and pulses (nuts and berries).

There are, however, some forms of vegetarian which will still eat fish and I think it is lacto-ovo vegetarian.

Hope it helps x.x.x

vegies dont eat meat

vegans dont eat anything which comes from an animal; meat, milk, butter, icecreme, etc

and there is another one (dont remember what its called) that doesnt eat anything that casts a shadow
and
another group who dont eat anything they consider to be alive such as friut and veg.. the only thing they eat are seeds literally

i believe the difference would be that a vegetarian can still eat some meats like chicken, fish, and other poultry. a vegan can't eat any type of meat of anything made from something that came from an animal. no milk or any other dairy.

Vegans avoid eggs and milk/products, too.

Vegans are from Venus and Vegetarians are from Mars.

Sorry folks just a little play upon words. No insult intended. I admire you.

Vegans put their health at risk because they refuse to eat anythinhg from animals. Including milk, cheese, yoghurt and eggs.

These things contain proteins that can only be found in animal produce, and so vegans spend their lives chewing on vitamin tablets to keep their bodies going.

Vegetarians on the other hand want to eat animal produce, just not the animals themselves.
Except the occasional fish, for some of them.
Fish dont count.

EDIT:

I'm willing to bet a couple of vegetaians or vegan gave me thumbsdown.

Well I'm sorry if I dont subscribe to your enlightened point of view, but I wasn't born with canines and the ability to digest meat with more efficiency than vegetables for no good reason.

Vegetarians don't eat meat, poultry, lard, rennet, or gelatin. They do eat eggs and dairy.

Vegans don't eat any animals or anything from animals.

None, they both look as if they need a good, substantial meal!

no difference

Most vegetarians will eat eggs and dairy, some will even eat fish, though it is an animal just like a pig or cow is. Veganism is sort of more of a lifestyle-- vegans avoid leather, fur, eggs, dairy, meat obviously, stuff like that. Vegans don't use any animal products at all.

Vegans do not eat any animal products. That includes meat, dairy, eggs and honey. Vegetarians, on the other hand, can eat dairy, eggs, and honey depending on their chosen diet.
