Answers:
Well it's good that you're open enough to consider a lifestyle change!. Tofu depends highly on how you cook it, but it has a vaguely rubbery texture, I suppose, but I'm not too good at explaining it!. It takes up the taste of whatever sauce it is prepared in!. Plus, if you don't like tofu you don't have to eat it!.!.!.

If you eat fish you're not a vegetarian, but some people do eat fish but no other meat!. These people sometimes mistakenly call themselves vegetarian, but are really "pescetarian!." As far as health goes, it's usually healthier than vegetarian or meaty diets, but still kills the fish!.

I'd suggest trying a new diet like vegetarianism or pescetarianism for a week or so and deciding for yourself if you think it's worth it!.!.!. Keep in mind these things become easier over time, too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

try it for 2 weeks see if you can manage it, its not right for everyoneWww@FoodAQ@Com

You should look for Boco Burgers and more Boco stuff it is a fake meat made out of vegetables and it taste similarWww@FoodAQ@Com

well, as long as you're not iron deficient or anything your body should be able to handle it!. tofu is a hard thing to describe!. i suggest that you try it and see!. personally, i think it tastes pretty good!. no, seafood doesn't count as meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fish is considered meat, so if you call yourself a vegetarian and eat fish, you are lying!. Tofu is actually pretty good!. The flavor of it depends on what it is in or what it was marinated in!.

Here are some good recipes:

Stir fry- You need cut up tofu, soy sauce, olive oil, steamed veggies, and cooked rice

Get a frying pan and coat it with olive oil!. The put the tofu in the pan and brown each side of it!. Next, add the veggies!. Add a little soy sauce and put in the rice!. Mix everything up and then let it sit on the stove, occasionally stirring it to make sure it doesn't burn!. After about a minute and a half of that put it in a bowl and enjoy!

Hummus- chick peas, lemon juice, paprika, black pepper, and any other spices/seasonings you like

Puree the chick peas!. Then add a little lemon juice, paprika, pepper, and other spices!. Then stir!. Serve with a pita, with cucumbers, or on a veggie wrap!.

im a vegeterian make sure u tell ur dr cause it really important and make sure you get tests done regurly u iron levels drop alot!!!!! eat other foods with iron in them tooWww@FoodAQ@Com

Tofu tastes bland alone, but it's not meant to be eaten alone!. It absorbs the flavors of the foods and spices that it's cooked with!.

You're right, fish is animal flesh and a person isn't vegetarian if he or she eats fish!.

Check out http://www!.tryveg!.com for lots of info and resources on vegetarianism!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i my self am not a vegetarian but many of my friends are!. If you haven't tried tofu you should probably test it out first!. It has no taste except for the marinade or what ever its mixed with!. Another good thing to do is to check out your local grocery store to see what kind of vegetarian options you have there!. Some really good vegetarian products are:
-boca burgers
-morning star "bacon" and "sausage"
-tofuti ice cream
If you still want to try tofu but don't want to make it look at some menus of different restaurants to see if they have some dishes with it!. I know that Moe's (the chain) has tofu and its some of the best I've tasted!.
also about the only eating fish that is not a vegetarian that is a pescetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well, the vegetarians that eat fish arent rlly veggies!.
fish is a once living animal, those morons!. lol!.
and tofu imo is delicious, especially in a vegetable stir fry!.
also, remember there are lots of products out there that are not vegetarian friendly, such as jello and skittles and most soups!.

im not a vegetarian, but my sister has been living this lifestyle for around 5 yrs now, she lost weight when becoming a vegetarian and has become healthier in some ways!. :]Www@FoodAQ@Com
