Answers:
Depends!.
If your talking just food - cheaper as meat is expensive!. Not having to buy eggs, butter, and cheese - is going to be cheaper!.
If your talking from the point of view of say, cleaning products!? More expensive!. Sad, but buying eco friendly so as to do no harm to the environment and possibly animals isn't cheap!.
For women (and some men) - makeup if buying eco friendly is going to be more expensive than the brands that are not cruelty free!.
Same thing for personal hygienic products - toothpaste, deodorant, body soaps, shampoo - not going to be cheap!.
Clothing - if your going to get rid of all clothing that might have animal products within - shoes, belts, wallets/purse, coats/jackets, hats, gloves, etc - going to be expensive to replace it all!.
Depends on if you are going totally vegan - or bit by bit as you can afford - or make concessions on certain points!.
So the answer is - it depends!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, it depends on the food you buy!. You can get beans and rice for cheap prices!. It depends on the foods you buy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It doesn't have to be more expensive if you cook your own food, including grains, beans, vegetables, etc!. If you buy a lot of fake meat and "cheese", it can get really expensive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It does not have to be more expensive than any other type of diet!. If you are relying on a lot of processed foods(fake meats, fake cheeses, etc) than it is going to be more costly!. If you stick to in season fruits, vegetables, grains, etc and make your food yourself, you may find it cheaper!.
If you look at the price of meat per lb, as opposed to vegan foods you will see the price of vegetables, fruits, etc are less!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
