Have you ever eatin' a lard sandwich?!

Question: Have you ever eatin' a lard sandwich!?
is it good and tasty or whatWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
actually a lard sandwich is not made from a chunk of lard, but the remains from a pan which was used to heat part of an animals corpse before it was eaten!. In Australia we call this lard 'dripping'!. So it does have a flavour, as it is not just the fat but also other crap like blood and I don't know maybe some onion!.

My dad grew up during WW2 and he said he only knew one fat kid!. This kid was from a rich family (they could afford meat more than once per week)!. Dad said this kid used to love to eat dripping sandwiches!. I expect he is not alive any more!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, and I can advise you is that the old adage about life being better, the more bread you have, is a true one, in this instance!.
Lard is effectively flavourless, if you use the "block" form, bought in a supermarket!.
So you end up with the taste of the bread and a mouth full of semi melted fat!.
Personally, I don't think that's a fun thing!.
Disgusting is a word that comes to mind!.
Take my word for it, if you don't actually Have to eat a lard sandwich, don't!. Root canal surgery is more fun, and you don't drip fat on your shirt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I haven't!. I've never heard of a lard sandwich and I was raised eating meat!.!. It sounds like it would give someone a heart-attack!. Do you eat it on refined, bleached white bread with a tiny piece of iceberg lettuce!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. Nor have youWww@FoodAQ@Com

Never done that!. But lard does not have any flavour of it's own!. Butter at least tastes good and give you almost the same fat overdose!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

why has grey m got a thumbs down!? They're right!. I've never eaten it (i'm vegan) but it's a common thing my parents were brought up to eat!. Yes, it's not just a lard sandwich, it's the 'dripping' with the flavours of the food previously cooked in it!. (I'm Aussie too!.!.!.maybe we're freaks grey!. >;P
