is there suvh thing and can you get it at normal supermarkets, sainsburys, tesco, ect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In sainbury's, Morrisons and Tesco go do the "free from" section and is stuff which is dairy free!.!.!.!.

Sainsbury's do their own dairy free bars which are really nice!.!.

In Tesco and Morrisons you can get bars which are called dairy free I think!.!.!.there are rice crackle, plain and tangerine but in the tesco I go to they only have the rice crackle one but it depends where you live I guess!.!.!.In my Tesco there are also dairy free chocolate buttons which are delicious!

You could try a health foods store (like Holland & Barrett), a good health food store should have vegan chocolate available!. Plamil is a good brand, certified by the Vegan Society!. :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

high quality dark chololate can be vegan!.

Not the low cocoa content ones, they have diary in them as well!.

Green and Blacks do vegan chocolate as do several other companies!.

Sainsbury's have the Green and Blacks, independent shops will have a wider choice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes there definitely is lots of good vegan chocolate!. Chocolate itself is a plant product, but many companies put cow's milk in it =\

oh and response to an above answer: Dark chocolate is NOT always vegan!. You always have to read the ingredients, I recently got a Hersey's dark chocolate bar that had milk!. Granted!.!. it was Hersey's so why should I expect anything else!.!. but still!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes they have vegan chocolate!.!.!.you can find a lot in health food stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's!. Im a vegan and I buy unsweetened cocoa powder and sweeten it with agave syrup and make my own chocolate!.!.I love chocolateWww@FoodAQ@Com

Look for dark chocolate that's 70% cocoa or higher!. The higher-quality brands are usually vegan!.

Avoid Hershey and Cadbury dark chocolates!. Those darks contain dairy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Have a look at the posts on vegan forum [dot] com!. When I was a member a few years ago this was populated by a vast number of UK vegans who never shut up about vegan chocolates available over there!

Green & Black's, Dagoba, Endangered Species, Sjaak's, and Rose City Chocolatier are among the companies that make vegan dark chocolate!. Many "conventional" chocolate companies put dairy in the dark chocolate--snarl!. Many natural foods stores carry them, but I don't know if conventional ones do!. I also don't know which ones are available in the U!.K!., as I live in the U!.S!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
