You'll save money!. The average person saves a few thousand dollars annually by eliminating meat from the grocery bill!.

There will be less famine!. Farmers will be able to grow less grain for animals (more than 2/3 currently goes toward feeding animals raised for slaughter)!.

It promotes animal welfare and animal rights!. Take a look at the horrible suffering animals endure to provide us with dairy products like eggs and milk and meats like chicken, beef, lamb, veal, etc!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

haha, I just turned vegetarian and I really don't go for the animal rights stuff at all!. If you want to go shoot a deer, catch a fish, or dig into a nice juicy steak, that's fine with me!

I mainly became vegetarian because of:

-health benefits (it's good for your heart, it fends off cancer, blahblahblah)

-it's good for the environment

-and it's good for the economy (as well as your own wallet!)
