Answers:
First I must advise that your diet ,like all diets need to be planned properly to be nutritious!. Doing this will provide health benefits!. Vegetarians are divided into groups having different eating patterns!. However, the total vegetarian eating pattern is based on grains, vegetables, fruits, legumes, seeds, nuts!. If you are going to be a total vegetarian you would eat the above in the organic form including gluten!. There are plenty of recipes that are out there to enjoy!. A good source would be http://vegsource!.com!. However, although you should not make a sudden change but a timely one in order not put your body in shock!. Soon you will forget chicken as time goes by!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lots of beans, lentils and tofu!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

haha! i just posted kinda the same q!! i eat lots of nuts, i have a serving of peanuts every day!. i am trying to find out what else i am lacking for nutriance, so you can check my q, or ill keep you posted!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some good vegetarian sources of protein are almonds, black beans, cashews, fake meats, garbanzo beans (chickpeas), kidney beans, lentils, peanut butter, pinto beans, seitan, soybeans, soymilk, sunflower seeds, textured vegetable protein (TVP), and tofu!.

I wouldn't worry much about protein, though!. Just get enough calories and eat fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, and grains!. Protein deficiencies are extremely rare in developed countries!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
