Yay, congrats on your decision!

All of the recipes on this site are vegan, and most are pretty simple: http://www!.chooseveg!.com/vegan-recipes!.a!.!.!.

List of popular non-dairy products and vegan faux meats:

My favorite food is pasta with Smart Bacon crumbles!. Take four strips of Smart Bacon and crumble them up, then sautee them until they're very, very cripsy!. Put them on pasta with tomato sauce!.

You could also make BLTs with the Smart Bacon!.!.!. when you sautee them for a long time, they have a smoky flavor and taste so good!. My non-vegetarian roommate has even asked if he could have some!

I also like subs with Vegenaise (vegan mayo), Tofurkey Deli Slices, lettuce, and tomato slices!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

YAY! Me too :) I just tried tofu stir fry today!.!.

All you do is get extra firm tofu, cooked brown rice, veggies, and spices (I use chili powder) and then use some soy sauce and cook it!! yummWww@FoodAQ@Com

I don't have a recipe for you but good luck making the switch!. I am neither Vegan nor vegetarian but truly think it is amazing that people have sunch willpower to not eat meat!. I wish it were that easy for me to give up eating meat but being raised on it, it's very difficult!. I have just started eating fish and phasing out beef!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am vegan!.!.!.!.!.and I very happy for you that you decided to become vegan! Once you vegan you will never want to go back!.

Here is one recipe that EVERYONE seems to enjoy: It's a twist to the normal spaghetti

You cook your normal spaghetti noodles
Then you add what ever spaghetti sauce you like (i prefer Ragu vegetable sauce)
*Here is the twist instead of the normal ground beef add Moring Star Meat (it's vegan meat not tofu) Crumblers (the whole bag)
You can even add a little bit of salsa and/or brown sugar!.

This would have to be my favorite! You can also add homemade garlic bread but instead of using butter you can use something like "i can't believe it's not butter" or hydrogenated vegetable oil (it tastes just like butter) with a little of garlic powder/or salt along with peas!

Be creative! Add your own twist to it! People think that vegetarians/vegans are limited, but we are not!

Need more recipes feel free to email me!

*Be careful when buying vegetarian/vegan meats, SOME products from Moring Star and Boca have milk and/or eggs in them!. Make sure you read your labels!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Good for you girl, keep up with the determination of your own mind!.

I'm sorry I have no Vegan recipes or tips for you as I am a meat eater, but I just wanted to say it is your body and your Right to Choose what you put into it!.

GOOD LUCK and stay with what is right for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grilled Brown Sugar Bananas
Grilled bananas are delicious!. Make sure that you have a good oiled grate before putting the banana pieces on!. You won't want them to stick, ruining your dessert!. By leaving the bananas in the peel they will hold up better on the grill!. Add vanilla ice cream and liquor as a finishing touch!.
INGREDIENTS:
6 bananas
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons cinammon

PREPARATION:
Preheat grill for medium-low heat!. Without removing the peel cut each banana in half lengthwise!. Sprinkle each half with lemon juice!. Combine cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl!. Coat exposed surface of the bananas in sugar mixture!.

Place banana halves on an oiled grill grate, peel side up!. Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes per side!. Remove bananas from grill, then from peel and serve with favorite ice cream and topping!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
