Does socioeconomic class play a role in veg*nism?!
Answers:
i wish i had links for you, but here is my opinion!.!.!.!.
veganism is a very attainable lifestyle for all classes because probably the most expensive things in a person's diet are meat and dairy products anyway!. they spoil quickly, too!. fruits, veggies, and herbs can be grown at home if one has the space available!.
however, lower socioeconomic classes tend to be less educated and may not have as much exposure to different dietary trends and may not be as concerned about nutrition as much as just eating SOMETHING to fill their stomachs!. it's often about convenience: prepackaged food=cheap food!.
by the way, great question!.!.!.!.deserving of a star!. =)Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, it costs 4 to5 X's as much for a family of 4 to eat meat than it does for a family of 4 to be vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I can't give you any links but I will say yes!. People in lower economic standing are less likely to have exposure to different lifestyles or have the resources to make the significant change in their life!. It IS expensive to eat healthy!. It is more expensive to pay medical bills associated with unhealthy living, though!. A quadruple bypass isn't cheap!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
