so I drink powdered milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
that powered stuff is nothing like proper milk when its made up, my mum used to buy it, it tasted better just eating the dry power with a spoon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Homogenisation is the process of spreading the cream throughout the milk so everybody can enjoy the creaminess!. I don't think it's harmful!.

I live in the UK, our dairy is much safer than American Dairy but I avoid dairy products!.

But I am more concerned with the antibiotics and other crap that's found in dairy these days!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That's ridiculous!. Homogenization is simply a method whereby the fat globules are broken up into smaller particles so they stay suspended in the fluid!. It only affects the physical structure of milk not the chemistry!.
If you still don't like homogenization drink skim milk!. No fat means no homogenization

Well my dear listless I DO have a PhD from a state that has more dairys in it than yours!. Personally I'd like to know how you jam that powder through a homoginizer!. If you really are a biologist, how can you be spouting that gibberish!. Where did you graduate from!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here we go again, someone up in arms about Homo Genies!. Look, just because they have puffy silk pants, wear their hair in a towel and have earrings, it doesn't mean they're gay! Now just make your wish and get on with it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're right!. After homogenization fat molecules are much smaller!. This enables the hormones (the cow's hormones this isn't even counting added hormones) to bypass digestion altogether and enter our bloodstream before it's broken down by our digestive system!. These tiny(er) molecules (enzymes) cause a reaction in our blood vessels causing our bodies to protect the area with a layer of cholesterol (hardening of the arteries, etc)!. Two cardiologists from CT discovered this I believe!.

Pasteurization is another culprit, it destroys vitamins and nutrients that were originally in the milk!.

Unfortunately, in the US you'll be hard pressed to find anything unpasteurized because I believe it's illegal!.

On another sad note, according to Wikipedia powdered milk is even worse than regular milk-but I had NO idea they were adding it to my regular milk, I can't believe it actually!.!.!.
Here's what the paragraph and link:
Compared to fresh milk, powdered milk (and powdered eggs) are stated to be exceptionally high in oxysterols (oxidized cholesterol)!.[1] The free radicals have been stated to have atherogenic ("causing atherosclerosis")[2] and carcinogenic ("causing cancer") properties!.[3] Powdered milk is frequently added to 1-2% pasteurized milk to give it more body!.[4]

You can find some types of non homogenized milk at The Fresh Market if you have one near you!. They feature the "cream on top" as the homgenization process breaks up the fat globules and distributes them throughout the milk!.

I found a link that references what you may be talking about but personally have not had time to check the science behind these claims!.

you are correct!.!. homonenizing is the process of spreading the cream throughout the milk!.!. that actually dilutes the cream cause it is thinned out by the spreading!.!.!. how do they spread it out!? With a chemical such as Hydro chloric acid! That is why dairy milk tastes so watery!. What they call cream nowadays is nearly what they useto call milk! Soya milks taste far better than regular homogenized milk except for a few exceptions!
Still the best milk or cream is straight from the cow unaltered!Www@FoodAQ@Com
