Should I go vegetarian? HELP!!!?!
I have been vegetarian before, but couldnt resist this yummy chicken at the mall!. I am thinking about going veggie again!. But, if I do, wont I be missing out on the yummy chicken-loaded foods!? My favorite food IS chicken from Burger King!. Ughh! Help me decide!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well my friend has been a vegetarian for over a year and she gained more weight and she doesn't have a big varity of food!. I mean if you have a reason go for it but if you stay vega train for long you have to go to a docter when you want to eat meat again because you can get deathly ill!. But i mean why do it if you have no cause or really big desire

not to make you mad, but if you eat ANY meat OF fish, you can't call yourself a vegetarian!. you don't care enough to completely outlaw meat and fish in your diet but you obviously DO care (i personally could never last without any meat or fish for a week)!. i have a friend just like you, actually!. he only eats chicken but does "not believe" in eating any other meat or fish!. maybe you could take after him!. hope i helped :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

no i don't know if you believe in god but he put animals down here to eat if you don't eat it then the chickens would die any way i have a friend whose 1/2 vegetarian and she doesn't eat mammals so you could still eat chicken and be veggie! hope i helpedWww@FoodAQ@Com

But being a doctor child i know just being a Vegetarian is not very health because: Meats have proteins in it and i know there are substitute proteins in drinks and things, but nothings is as health as meat!.

Good for you for trying! With any pursuit in life, moderation is the key!. Make good healthy eating choices most of the time and an occasional splurge won't kill you!. It is actually quite interesting to find that the dish you loved so much doesn't really taste as good as you thought in hindsight!.
I went vegetarian last year, but still have an occasional meat dish with my son or when at a restaurant where to choose otherwise is impossible!. The point is to limit the amount of growth hormones and to reduce your support of the meat industry that uses chemicals to increase their profit margins!.
However, if you are going to splurge on a meat dish, try to lean toward organic, not the food-chain kind! At least you are supporting the end of the meat industry that isn't trying to kill us!
To make up for the missing aminos and proteins, try cooking with Bragg Liquid Aminos, and eat more eggs, peanut butter, etc!. You will also want to make sure you eat plenty iron producing foods like asparagus, green beans, and cook with tumeric!

Well I have to say that I am a meat eater, but I noticed as I got older I really don't care much for meat that much anymore but you do need to get plenty of protein in your diet!. first of all I say eat chicken once in a while when you feel the urge!.Just don't do it all of the time!. Please try to stay away from junk food like fast food you will only see it grow on you in the end try to stay healthy and eat right by eating everything that your body requires to stay strong and healthyWww@FoodAQ@Com
I am a vegitarian!.!.!.!. think of this: chicks only live 6 weeks before becoming a NUGGET! But i don't push my belifs on people i don't look down on people who eat meat!. Actually ALL MY FRIENDS eat meat! amd i like all of them (duh friends)

2) Human body needs meat!. Vegetarians can not get needed amount proteins!. Protein tablets are made from animals!. So there is no difference!. Protein can be produced by plants, but it is so ineffective, than growing them it would pollute air more than eating meat!.
If body do not get proteins it can not sustain several systems!. For example - loss of hair, loss of mussels!.

Nobody can make that decision but you!. I would imagine it depends on why you became a vegetarian the first time!.

O dude i was once before dealing with the same thing that you are dealing with!.!.!.and i know how hard it is but you either have to be true to it or don't do it!. When i first went v!. it was so hard for me to resist but as i go on and keep gaining knowledge bout all this veggie stuff it has gotten a lot easier!. It makes absolutely no sense for any person to ever go vegetarian!. Meat is a pillar of the human diet that should not be ignored!. It is from the protein found in meat that our ancestors that stood up on two feet for the first time ate that gave us the fuel to grow our brains to the enormous relative size that they are now because of their new found usage of their hands and dwindling resources!. Besides it's evolutionary function, eating the flesh of other beings is a simple mechanism of life itself!. What I'm saying is, I doubt you'll ever see a lion eating a salad any time soon!. While we are not powerful carnivorous beast like the lion, we are omnivorous beings of higher intelligence!.
