Does soy equal headache???!
I've been trying to reduce my consumption of animal products!. I don't eat red meat or chicken, neither do I eat dairy!. But I eat egg whites and fish!. Recently, well in the past few weeks, I've added soy, daily, to replace the fish!. But I've been getting these massive headaches around 2 hours after I've eaten tofu or tempeh!.!.!. Is this normal!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds like you have the same sensitivity to soy as a friend of mine!. She has exactly the same symptoms!.
You might try wheat gluten products instead of the tofu and tempeh since you're trying not to eat meat!. Grilled portobello mushrooms also have a meaty texture if you get the urge for something similar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You may have an allergy!. Rather than soy, try seitan!. It's "wheat meat!." If you stop getting the headaches then it might have been the soy!.
So too, it could be an additive to the soy!. Check the ingredients!. Is it tofu you're using!? Or tempeh!?
I wouldn't have soy every day anyway!. If you're eating too much of the same thing all the time you cheat yourself out of nutrients!. Variety is best!. Use tempeh, seitan, nuts, avocado, mushrooms - there are plenty of options!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
