Question: Are questions sometimes deleted simply because one person does not like them!?
Answers:
Yes, because there are a lot of trolls in Yahoo AnswersWww@FoodAQ@Com

probablyWww@FoodAQ@Com

or they post them in the wrong area, like this one!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The individual can delete them - or they can be deleted because they are in violation of the guidelines (not really a question, obscene, insulting to others, doesn't fit within the area that it is posted within, etc!.)!.

I haven't seen any questions deleted from this area - but then I am not on alot either!. Have been the last week because I have been off from work - but I don't 'live' online by any stretch of the imagination!. So it could be happening more than I personally notice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think it takes more than one report to get something deleted!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, they can be!. YA has a 'trusted reporter' system, and it only takes one of these people to get a question deleted!.

We've all been victims of this stupid and unfair system at least once; posts which are not violations are deleted on a trusted reporter's whim, and nasty and racist posts remain for all to see because no trusted reporter objected to them!.

You can appeal, and sometimes people do win appeals!.

I'm posting this using someone else's account because you've blocked me - I have no idea why!.

Matrix - 'not being vegetarian' is not a violation, much less an offence for which accounts can be suspended!. There wouldn't be many YA users if it was

Edit: From the page you get when you click 'Report' - ''What happens next: If one or more reliable members of the community report this answer it will be removed from Answers''Www@FoodAQ@Com

This happened to me!.!.!. some guy had posted a bunch of "questions" in a row one day that all seemed to me like he was pulling them off of a job application fishing for other peoples answers to help him out- I asked him if that were so and he reported me as a violator and I was deducted 15 points! Insane!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Possibly!. I think you report it and if they see that you've a valid point they delete the question!. either that or the asker deleted it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sometimes two trolls delete good questions, I've seen this happen!.

Sometimes the person who asked the question deletes their own questoin after getting a few answers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
