I don't think there is a type of plant called "onguin", but whatever you found I would refrain from eating!. Plants can look remarkably alike and one can make you sick and another could be harmless!. Sometimes even experienced people can have a hard time picking apart very similar plants!.
If you are referring to a wild mushroom or anything like that, it's quite the same!. Mushrooms vary widely but many are very alike in appearance, with only the finest differences between some of them!. Most wild mushrooms are alright, but I wouldn't eat something out of a yard anyway because countless animals walked over it, it could have been sprayed with any kind of chemical, weeks of dirt and trash washed over it!. Just don't eat it, even if you washed it well!.
You should save the rest of the plant, just in case you experience any symptoms of poisoning (anything from a fever over 101 degrees, to stomach cramps, vomiting, blood in vomit or feces, etc)!. If you take it with you to the emergency room in a plastic bag, it might speed up the process of identifying what plant it is, whether it is harmful, etc!. If you're very worried about it being harmful, you can try calling your local Poison Control and describing the plant thoroughly, or even looking online to see if you can find something similar!.
Next time don't eat anything you aren't sure about! That goes for anywhere you go - whether it's something you find on the ground or just a really uncertain looking casserole at a pot luck!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
