Answers:
People in Haiti eat dirt because they're starving!. They would rather feel something full in their stomachs than to feel gut-wrenching hunger, even if it's dirt!.

It's actually quite common and prevalent, there was a news piece on it just last week, and it's not getting any better!. They make a paste out of sand, water, and sometimes butter and eat it!. There's not much food available, so that's how it is!.

Globally, 30 people die of hunger every minute, which is like the bomb that dropped on Hiroshima occurring every 3 days!. And yet America selfishly consumes most of the world's resources, as does the meat industry (it takes 16 pounds of plants and 2,500 gallons of water to make a single pound of beef - a twisted, inefficient system both calorie wise and energy wise; plus 80% of the plants grown on this planet and most of the water go towards raising livestock!. If more people in Western countries chose to eat vegetarian, millions upon millions of gallons of water and pounds of grain and plants would be freed up for the countries who are squandered out of the world's food supply, simply because they don't have the economic standing to have any say in global affairs)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm sure that somewhere, someone is eating dirt!. For who knows what reason!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

oh yeah mud pie is the best!. or have you ever tried sauteed pebbles!. or sand salad!. yum to die for!. Just make sure it's organic and free range dirt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, they mix it with a little honey or juice and a bit of flour and make cookies out of it!.

Now, go donate!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The urge/act of eating things that aren't food (like ice and dirt) is called pika - it's a symptom of anemia!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Indeed you are

Here you go, its all yours, print it out, be proud:

EDIT: I was basing my "troll" identification on the fact that your previous 2 questions in the V&V forum were about chicken and bacon!. Its nothing to do with differing beliefs, i don't care if you eat chicken or bacon!.

If you are not a troll and incorrectly placed those question in theV&V section, i'm sure you will not mind deleting them and re-asking them correctly!.

As my first line suggest, you definately have the right screen ID

by the way, there is nothing "angy" about my orignal answer, and there is nothing angy about my edit!. You just appear to be making up knee-jerk responses without actually paying any attention to whether they are logical or truthful, rolling out those same old "troll" personal comments!.

Its monday, don't you have any positive contribution to make to the world this week !?

EDIT": I just looked through your Q&A nonsense, there are too many examples of your trolling to quote them all, but try these 2 as examples that you are nothing but a childish troll:

"I want to become vegetarian but i still want to eat bacon and hamburgers and grilled lamb chops"

"meat is vegetarian"

I can't be bother quoting the rest, if you are deluded enough to think you are not trolling, good for you, be happy in your world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

my grandma had a son that died from eating dirt!. So eating large amounts of dirt can't be good for you!. And for that reason,i don't think people do it!. However, my mom had weird cravings for dirt/clay/wet bricks!.!.stuff like that!.!.!.so i'm sure in weird cases like that, people have been known to eat dirt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is called Geophagia I believe and it happens all over!. Not as prevalent as it once was!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
