although i am vegan i can not justify depriving the dog and cat i feed of meat!. because it is NATURAL for them to eat other animals!. i know that it's sort of odd because u dont want to support the killing of animals but then you do buy buying canned animal food, but it is the fault of HUMANS that dogs and cats were domesticated and can't do their own killing, so by having a pet you have the responsibility to feed it meat!. do you think feeding it biscuits every meal will make it very healthy!?
domestic cats dont have the resources or the family taught knowledge to fend for themselves, this is not a natural habitat for a preying animal!. so do the right thing!.
you made the choice to be vegan, by making that choice for the animal you are as bad as the rest of them!.

i had a rabbit for 6 years, he was very happy, because he wasn't kept in a cage!. he had the whole backyard and under the house and he even went next door once the cheeky little bugger! he was awesome!.
rabbit's need to run just like other animals!. never confine them to a hutch (it's alright at night)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go to the animal rescue facility in your town and rescue a rabbit!. Rabbits have notoriously low adoption rate, and they don't eat meat!. SO you'll save an animal from euthanasia, and won't need to feed your animal any animals!.

Animals that are allowed to roam free are ok pets but one's that are confined are not!. Dogs & Cats yes!. Birds and fish etc!.!.!.not!.

A huge aquarium is wonderful because you can create your own ecosystem where everything thrives and you can play God and see how well you do at it!. aquatic life grow to the size of the enclosure so if done properly they will survive and flourish just as they would in the wild!. You are not taking species from the wild (illegal anyway) but farm raised and most have standards!. Fish are great to just watch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are many pets that do not eat meat!. Some of these pets include rabbits, tortoises, birds, chinchillas, degus, and rodents(rats, hamsters, gerbils, etc)!. All these animals do not eat meat, however it is up to the individual to decide the ethics of keeping them as pets!.
