I want to make vegan fahitas. Could I use quorn?!
Or please can someone kindly suggest a suitably-textured meat alternative that I could perhaps marinate and then grill or broil!.

you can use VERY thinly sliced chicken!. as long as you slice it thin it's still vegan :DWww@FoodAQ@Com
TVP textured vegetable proteinWww@FoodAQ@Com
Tofu, beans, eggplant, etc!. Just use a textured vegetable!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Quorn isn't vegan because it contains egg!. You can get a similar texture by freezing tofu!. Then you could bake or fry it, though you would have to add flavour to it, e!.g!. soy sauce, or chicken herbs and spices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Quorn uses dairy and egg products!. If you flavor the veggies enough, you wouldn't even notice a meat-like substance is there!. :)
I like using the following (inspired by Chipotle):
Black beans
Grilled red onions and green peppers
Corn
Pico de gallo (cilantro, onion, tomato)
Guacamole (or avocado slices)
Yum!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like to use seitan - it's got a good texture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Quorn is not suitable for vegans because it uses egg!. If you want a similar (ie, processed) alternative then redwoods make an excellent chicken style product which is suitable for vegans in their 'vegi deli' range (cheatin chicken style pieces), which are brill in fajitas!. You can just use veggies (onion, peppers, baby corn, broccoli, mushrooms, mangetout etc) to make veggie fajitas but if you want a meat alternative the redwoods one is good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Use mushrooms or eggplant insteadWww@FoodAQ@Com
