"Vegetables, fresh and canned, spaghetti sauces, soups, etc!. all have a certain amount of bug parts per can/jar, etc!. Answers:
It is possible, but I don't think it would harm the person eating it!. also, I suppose vegetarians could still eat products like this, because they are not intending to eat an animal in the first place, like someone would with meat or fish!. I think the best way to avoid this is not to buy canned products or anything that has been mass produced in factories!. Unfortunately, many of societies food is made this way!. The best I can suggest is go organic, or grow your own vegetables and make your own soup, but there is still a possibility that these also could contain animal remains!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is inevitable that either while cooking at home or while being packaged by the producer, insects will be around and might get into the food!. It's not as if there are tons of insects in your food, simply that it happens!. Even when I grow veggies in my own garden and then wash them well, every once in a while you can find an insect or two in the produce!. Not much to be done about it except wash and inspect your food well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When you mass produce things like flour, a certain amount of insects are caught in with the materials and ground in the machinery, ultimately ending up in what you're eating!.

I tend not to be bothered with this for several reasons!.

These insects are in their by accident, therefore I am not supporting anyone with the intent of harming animals for profit!.

Some try to point out that around 1!.8 billion animals (insects etc!.) would be killed by a purely vegan diet, but this is nothing compared to how many animals are killed in nonvegan ones!.

Most livestock is fed by human-grown grain, which is also laced with insects!.

I suppose if it bothers you that much you can do a lot of research into which companies are the most clean, or you can even augment a large portion of your diet with homegrown food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

nothing to worry about, i agree with the first answer, and bugs are protien!. lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes it is true, as well as so many rat and mouse pellets in flour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, it's quite true, but the bug parts are such a tiny portion that they are virtually irrelevant!. There's more bug parts in some fresh produce than there is in canned junk too!. Broccoli is infamous for it's bug content and vegetables that grow in layers, like lettuce, cabbage, brussels sprouts etc!. all have a high incidence of bugs!. Organic vegetables are especially susceptible because they use less pesticides!. Yes, they use pesticides and herbicides on organic produce!. It is just derived from natural sources and not man-made chemicals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you got this as an answer once, do you think asking it again is going to change the answer!?

Ok, to make you happy, no, it's not true!.

In truth, yes, it's true!.

Just think about when you cook - do you lose a skin cell or eye lash in the food you're preparing or cooking!? Have you ever had one of your hairs fall into the food!? I won't even mention the mites that live on your body!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well in all ower food their are bugs, the FDA allows a certain amount it may be just a ant or two, but none the less its true,Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yuck I hope notWww@FoodAQ@Com

The amount of insect parts permitted in processed food is quite small!. It would not be noticeable to you!.

It is impossible to keep absolutely all insects out of food!. Just think: even if you buy pre-washed lettuce and wash it again yourself, you do occasionally run into an insect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
