Answers:
Get a lot of lizards to eat them!. 20 lizards will take care of all your problems, but if lizards bother you then you have no choice but to live with them or get a "green" pesticide at least!. Trust me!.!.!.there are enough of those insects to go aroundWww@FoodAQ@Com

Well, I've never had mice, roaches, termites or ants in my home!.

But when spiders or crickets get lost and wind-up in my livingroom, I capture them and release them outside!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is no one way!. Vegans are not all the same!. Some would choose to trap the little pets and take them outside; others may call an exterminator because it's better to have the health and safety of their children rather than risk disease!. I'm sure some people do let them run free, but that's not necessarily a vegan trait!.

Edit: Was the only reason you ask so that you can give us all thumbs down!? Man, you're pathetic!. I thought you had a real question!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

capture them and then let them free outside!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

roaches, mice, the and sort like to live in your warm cozy house!. If you catch them and let them free they will come back!. You def!. should have the roaches exterminated, but the mice!.!.!. if you don't want to kill them (as I don't) you can get the humane traps and let them loose somewhere away from the house and pray they don't come back LOL!.

as for spiders!.!.!. I love spiders and where there are spiders there is insect control!. I mean, how many spiders can you have in your house!? My guess is probably not many and I bet they're rarely seen or ever a problem!. Unless the spider happens to be poisonous and/or you have children I wouldn't worry too much!.

Termites MUST GO! Unless you live in a storage unit where wood isnt an issue, lol!.

Ants!.!.!. this one is easy!. Eliminate the food source and they'll soon leave!. You shouldn't have to exterminate!. We have several invasions every year!. usually in early spring and sometime during the summer and late fall!.

I love ants! They-re my favorite! hehe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well!.!.for rats v use rat traps n trap it with some nice food!.!.!.!.
for cockroaches,,termites,,ants v used sprays//anti-powders!.!.!.!.
in the case of ants it didnt work!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is no vegan rulebook; different vegans will deal with pests, or attempt to deal with them, in different ways - as you can see from your answers!.

Being a vegan means you do what you can and all you can to minimise your contribution to animal suffering and exploitation; it doesn't mean you sacrifice your own health or safety - allowing animals to endanger your health and safety and that of your family, particularly your children, is not vegan it is irresponsible and stupid!.

Though a dilemma, because you don't want to harm life, it is essential to rid your house of rodents and other pests if you have an infestation!.

Unfortunately mice don't come into the house singly - they move in en masse and breed very quickly - so catching them singly and putting them outside, as some people have said they would do, isn't really a practical option!.

If taken outside they will soon find their way back in anyway!.

There is no point in being sentimental about mice and rats - they are a huge health hazard and a danger when in your home!. A danger because they need to gnaw constantly and will present a very real fire risk by gnawing on electric cables!. A health risk because they spread disease - they are there for your food and will contaminate that; mice urinate and defecate constantly and that will be spread around wherever they go!. Each female mouse can have 5 - 10 litters per year of up to 13 young each time; each of the new born mice will be able to breed at about 7 weeks!. Do the maths and see how quickly the population will increase – you’ll never catch them all!.

A better option is to try and prevent pests coming in!. You can get a plug-in device that emits a noise inaudible to humans but intolerable to rodents and to other pests like cockroaches; make sure your kitchen is squeaky clean, with no food scraps or crumbs to tempt them in; and try to block up any holes or gaps where rodents might get in - bearing in mind that if you can get a ball point pen into a hole, a mouse can get through it!. They tend to stay away if you have a cat, too!.

If having tried all the above you still get an infestation you have a responsibility to deal with it properly!. Your health and safety and that of your family comes first!.

I'm vegan and I would call in the exterminators if precautions failed - just as I would defend myself against any creature - animal or human - that was threatening my health, safety or life

Spiders though - they don't hurt anyone and they keep the fly population down; I leave spiders aloneWww@FoodAQ@Com

Kill them, if you don't have the stomach to do that get a meat eating pet to do it for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Live traps for mammals!. Releasing them far away from your house so they can never come back!. Termites need to be killed!. Roaches will not come into your house if there is no food source there!. Spiders, I just let them be, they eat other bugs! Ants, same as roaches!.

Ultrasonic devices will also help to keep them from coming into the house to begin with!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
