Peanuts are great for protein, also peas and beans!. Cheese is also fantastic, but this of course is only if you eat dairy!. Try soya (and soya milk, it is actually delicious) and tofu!. I looove tofu, and you can put it in all sorts of stuff, like salads!.
Spinach is a great source of iron!.
Tofu, beans, lentils and leafy vegetables, chickpeas and black eyed peas also contain iron!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you eat dairy and eggs you get enough protein!. Most people eat about 3x the needed protein!. Eat some nuts and beans, eat any sort of soy product!. For iron, prune juice is great, as is spinach!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
In addition to the answers others have given, I would like to suggest that you read "The Food Revolution" by John Robbins and "The China Study" by T!. Colin Campbell!. Both are excellent to give you knowledge on protein and iron (and more) from plant foods as well as more interesting information on your body's requirements for these nutrients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
