!. No poisons (does the same thing to humans as it does to pests and such, it only takes longer as we are bigger organisms!.

!. Better farming practices!. Usually they are smaller farmers that use naturally fertilizers and furrow there fields periodically!.

!. No run off: This has been responsible for contaminating our drinking water and creating immense dead zones!.

!. Not Genetically modified: Such technology has never been proven safe and makes the farmers depended in a few mammoth seed companies like Monsanto and the like!.

!. No Terminator technology which makes the plants infertile and the farmers yet again depended on the seed companies!.

!. More genetic diversity!. For example in the Philippines there used to be over 2000 varieties of rice and now there re about 5 by using modified seed crops of major seed companies!.

!. Often associated with fairtrade in which the farmer gets a fair wage for their crop!. According to Bill McKibbens book "Deep Ecology" the farmer used to get about 33 percent profit but now only 9% making the slaves yet again to the seed companies and other expensive technologies including petroleum based fertilizers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
