Selenium deficiency and anemia appear to be the biggest factors in promoting candida growth!.

Candida is higher when there are mercury fillings in the teeth!.

Basically it seems that the deficiencies associated with candidiasis correlate very well with the deficiencies associated with hypothyroidism!.

There are a few reasons candida effects people but I've seen no evidence that vegans suffer from it more than anyone else!. Perhaps you have a link!?

I don't believe they do!.!.maybe they are just more in tuned to their bodies!.
A highly refined starchy, sugar laden diet will promote Candida!. I know plenty of flesh eaters with that kind of diet!.
