I'd like to support what FaZizzle wrote!. If you stop eating, or eat less than a certain number of calories then your body will assume that it is starving and start storing fat for energy!. Other things will start happening, too!. If you've ever seen pictures of people in a drought or famine situation, their bellies actually begin to bulge while the muscles in their arms and legs begin to atrophy!. Not a good look!.
Your hair begins to fall out rather quickly!. Your breath begins to smell like vomit because there is nothing to balance the acid in your stomach!. Your skin begins to get dry and loses color!. Your finger nails get brittle, as does your hair, giving you a sort of frizzy look!. Your eyes start to look sunken!.
When you deny yourself the nutrients your body needs to function it starts shutting down systems that are not needed for survival!. Menstruation is one of the first to go, and with it goes sex drive!. You also start sleeping more, making you less productive during the day and less able to enjoy the time that you spend out!.

Well the trick isn't to skip breakfast and lunch!. To jump start your metabolism in the morning, have a piece of fruit or something!.

I once heard about this woman who was around 400 lbs!. She stoped eating lunch and Diner and at all her caloires in the monring!. I remember when the protein-sparing fast was popular until people started dying left and right!. A friend of mine recently tried this approach and became extremely ill!.!.!. as her body was breaking down her heart!. Scary stuff here!.
If you eat just one meal a day, or fast in the short term, you are training your body to go into 'starvation mode!.' What happens here is that your body will become very efficient at storing fat from your intake, especially high carb intake!. It will become gifted at storing fat for the times you are without adequate nourishment!.
You would do much better to eat frequent meals of small proportion!.!.!.!.!. maybe 5 - 6 meals a day like diabetics are recommended to do!.
Check out the diabetic diet recommendations!.!.!. a friend of mine was diagnosed with diabetes last year!. She is only 4' 9" but dropped weight like magic!.
