Question: Everytime I eat bananas, grapes and watermelon my throat itches non-stop!. Am I allergic!?
Answers:
Switch to organic and see what happens!. Some fruits more than others get blasted with the stuff!. In short you may be allergic to the toxins in the pesticides!. It does the same thing to us as it does to the bugs!.!.!.!.!. It only takes longer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wow mine does that too!. It itches and kind of feels swollen but it' doesn't feel life threatening!. I think it's an allergic reaction but I don't care because they taste sooo good :)

I like Camille's answer, I wonder if its true!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

YES YOU ARE ALLERGIC OR YOU MAY BE HAVING A CROSS REACTIONWww@FoodAQ@Com

yes, probably!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think it depends on how often you eat them!. My throat used to itch like that whenever I ate an apple and it wasn't often!. When I started eating them daily, the itching soon went away!.

Check out your diet!. If it's filled with lots of sugar and carbs, the healthy fruit may simply be cleaning out your body of toxins and it may come out in the way of the throat itching!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Same thing to me!.
Your probably allergic to mold and there is mold in fruit's skin!.

My brother is allergic to grapes and bananas and gets the same reaction!. So yes, it's definitely possible that you're allergic!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you could be!.!.!.!.go to a docter!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

omg!
You too!?
My throat itches, and next think you know,
my lips are red and slightly swollen like
I just got a lip job!.!. it's funny!.
I'm like that too pretty much all fruit tho!.
I've never thought it is serious enough to see a doctor!.
Even lettuce and cucumbers do it to me, too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are probably allergic!. If you stop eating something and your symptoms go away, but they come back when you eat it again, then it's definitely something you should give up!. But you already figured this out for yourself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You may be allergic!. The only way to know for sure is to get tested by a doctor!. If you are allergic to bananas, then you should also be very careful with latex as it is a cross allergen!. I suggest you get tested, so that you can identify the culprit and remove it from your diet before you have a severe reaction (a severe reaction can result in death)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's probably an allergic reaction; my cousin experiences similar symptoms when she eats cashews or pine nuts!. You should go to a doctor and request a scratch test to make sure!. It's also possible that you're not allergic to the fruits themselves, but some mold or other organism on them, or perhaps a chemical they were sprayed with!. The test should be able to tell you this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

this happens to me too!.!.!.and it seems it does to alot of ppl, i never knew until now!.!.i was the only one i knew that had this problem!.!.in my family, out of my friends!.!.!.it happens to me when i eat bananas, watermelon (which also causes my skin to itch if i get it on my face while eating), cantalope, honeydew, all the melons really!.!.!.almonds, walnuts!.!.!.i think it does mean that we are allergic, but not in a threatening way!. i still eat bananas, watermelon, etc!.!.!.its not so bad that we must stay away from the fruit all together but i think it means we are sensitive to something in these fruits, but dont deprive yourself if you like it!.!.!.cuz its not gonna kill you!.!.!.just cause alittle discomfort, at least thats how i look at itWww@FoodAQ@Com

well if you arent sure!.!. go to the doctor!. \
