I have been a vegetarian since i was 10!. Which was a little stupid on my part because i didn't know how to get enough protein and i wasn't careful!. I started to get slightly weaker and bruised abnormally easily!. A few months later , i was in gym, i hyperventilated and passed out!. I had gotten malnutrition from lack of protein since i had stopped eating meat!. Thats what happens!.
I am still a vegetarian, but now, i know what im doing!.
Here are some good sources of protein:

-Tofu
also, i love carnation breakfast thingys, they are little milkshake thingys that are reaaaalllly tastey and have about 15g of protein!.

also! one vital thing mant people dont know: make sure you get extra omega-3 and iron- very, VERY important!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm assuming you're a full vegetarian !.!.!. i!.e!. vegan !? (if you're "just" vegetarian !.!.!. protein can be gotten from dairy & eggs as well as vegan sources)
Soy products like tofu and tempeh contain complete protein !.!.!.!. but other sources are nuts, seeds, legumes/beans, wholegrains, & potatoes!. These don't have complete protein and so you have to eat a mixed variety of them to obtain it!.
That way you won't be protein deficient!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
